Mitragyna hirsuta, commonly known as Kra Thum Khok, is a tall tree native to regions of Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Mitragyna hirsuta is closely related with Mitragyna speciosa or kratom. While hirsuta does not contain all of the active alkaloids present in kratom, such as mitragynine, it does contain some of the same alkaloids, notably Mitraphylline. Research is currently being conducted on the potential benefits of Mitraphylline. Mitragyna hirsuta is commonly used as a Kratom substitute. OtherMitragyna species we offer include Mitragyna parvifolia, Mitragyna stipulosa, Mitragyna speciosa (kratom), and Mitragyna javanica.
